We cloth diaper. I thought it would be amazingly difficult but something I would tough out and endure for the greater good. Turns out... I have more problems with disposable diapers when I use them. Weird.
Anyway. We also decided (because we are toughies I guess) to use prefolds. This is the same ol diaper your parents used on you when you were a kid, minus the safety pins. There are super amazing super fancy diapers out there. I am cheap. That is 1/2 the reason we went the cloth diaper route in the first place. We put the cloth in, velcro up and move on with the day.
Turns out, that if you were curious how long prefolds last - it appears that 3.7 years of daily use is approximately the limit. We are starting to frey and wear. Again with the cheapness - I only bought two bundles of 12 diapers. So these 24 diapers have been rocking us through the past many years and many babies.
I suppose I could throw down another $20 to make it through the next year. Good thing I have a coupon.
