I realize that you could go down a crazy tangent about this situation. But lets just laugh about it for a moment OK?
I was at conferences and the teacher said "I have to tell you something..." my heart always sinks. Conferences are just like going to the principals office for me. I always feel like I am in trouble.
Anyway. She said the kids were all playing the game "lets get drunk and pass out." uh... I don't remember that game from my childhood, so I listened. She clarified, I rushed over to stop this and redirect, but B was on the scene. She told them that that wasn't how the game is played. Instead, B informed these troublemakers that they needed to make sure they all had a safe ride home first. And if they weren't safe to drive, they needed to have someone drive them home. You don't drink and pass out.
Good parenting?
Yeesh. 50 things wrong with that interaction including the pre-school teacher having to say "at school, we don't play drinking games..." At least B is organizing the carpool/sobercab.
