No, not my new baby. But I did see a new baby this week. Little baby V. She was such a sweetie and reminded me how much I don't know about babies. I know you might think - hey, I have done this before, it will be great. I know everything.
Then they give you new baby and you are like WTF? you are going to let me take this home? What about feeding? How much do they sleep? Their belly button looks like what?! Man, I thought of all of those things when I saw the little peanut. What a cutie.
I told B that she was coming over and B said "I want to talk to her big sister and tell her how much fun it is to be a big sister." I almost fell off of my bike. How cute. So I asked A, the middle. "Do you think it is fun to be a big sister too." She was very quick to say in an unusually articulate voice "No I Do Not."
*sigh* Poor A. So much happened in her life between 12 months and 18 months. Moving and a new baby. Probably not so fun. But it was fun to see Ms. B give her friend a present and congratulate her on being a new big sister.
And congrats to the V family for such a beautiful and peaceful addition. Nice to know that there are other smarties out there populating the world.
