So who isn't fascinated by a bus? Ok, some of you may have gotten past it. But at some point, that rumbling noisy beast was a thing to be admired. My girls feel that way. We have been phasing out the car for some time now. I thought that day care would put a hitch in our plans. It did... in a way.
Now, we pick the girls up by and drop them off by bike daily. B (if you get confused on the order of the kids, know it is B-A-R...) asked me if this was her bus. I said of course! She isn't fooled for long. Now she wants the big bus. The C.J. bus. We have plans this weekend.
In the mean time, she has informed me that her "little bus" aka. a bike trailer needs a heater. Little does she know that we plan to suit her up in full snow paraphernalia and keep riding. It only makes sense. We are riding 12 blocks. What a silly trip for a car. Work is paying 1/2 of my bus pass and I already own the bike. But I did get her a blanket. I think I will get them each a rice sock to heat up and tuck in their coats for the ride daily. Any other ideas?
On another note, I wonder what she will think when it is time to take the school bus. Will she complain about the speed of that one too? Will she miss her sister? Will I be ready?
